About UK Pagan Links and the author

Why did the site need to change?

I was getting dozens of dodgy site submissions from Russian spammers every day and there was no effective way of stopping it, that's why site submissions were turned off. I aplogise for any inconvenience but I had no other choice, manually deleting lots of links every day became too much.

It was because of this that I decided it was time for an upgrade. After much research, deliberation and gool 'ol Virgo anlysis I came up with with a plan, and what you see is the result of everything coming to fruition. It's been a long struggle but it's done!

  • Ambitions - See the Northern Lights, see Ayres Rock, play in another band someday, go back to Callanish
  • Favourite quote - "Anything is possible" (Kathmandu shop owner who makes paper based products to order)

I first started UK Pagan Links last century in 1998/1999. When I got connected to the web my Virgo curiosity made me wonder how to create web pages - so I did - and the site was born. Over the years it's changed quite a bit and this recent update is probably the biggest that I've undertaken so far.

Personally I don't have any particular "path" because none of them fit me perfectly, though I have attended many moots, rituals, events, covens and gatherings over the years and made a few friend along the way.

In my daily life I'm a freelance web designer offering web design at www.blue-dreamer.co.uk and web hosting services at www.paganhost.co.uk, plus I work from home which is fantastic and gives me a great deal of flexibility! This is a total difference from my previous career at a well know organisation (they deliver letters...lol) as a Systems Administrator. In the end I left the rat race and never regretted in one bit.

As ever I hope you find UK pagan Links useful in your quest for Pagan knowledge!
