Founded in 1979, the British Druid Order teaches and practices an animistic, polytheistic, celebratory, shamanic, visionary, mystical Druidry that draws on the long heritage of the tradition, yet is deeply relevant to the 21st century. 2008 sees a new website, an online forum, new distance learning courses for bards, ovates and Druids, a new round of events, rituals and hands-on teaching, and the building of a traditional roundhouse that will serve as a venue for many of our activities.
